Health issues

"To have almost a year of just sitting there [doing nothing], and I can tell you that after double knee replacements and three back surgeries and now a torn rotator cuff and a ruptured disc, there were times this year that I thought this might be it.

I love being queer."

Gracie's revelation came after she showed her support for her dad during his big stage comeback nearly a year after he was forced to step back from touring due to his health.

Tim headlined the Music City Rodeo at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sunday, his first performance since June 2024.

The country star had to pull the plug on the remainder of his Standing Room Only tour on the advice of his doctors.

"In close consultation with his doctors, Tim McGraw will undergo necessary orthopedic surgery on both knees this month due to an injury sustained on tour," Sandia Resort & Casino revealed on Instagram at the time.

"Unfortunately, this will prevent him from performing any shows for the remainder of this year."

According to fans on social media, his return to the stage was a huge success, and Gracie was there to witness it.

"I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it's pride month!!!"

Pride Month has been celebrated every June since at least 1970 and spotlights the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual communities and their ongoing fight for equal rights.

"So many people out there don't have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!" Gracie McGraw wrote in her message Tuesday.

In addition to Gracie, the couple, who tied the knot in 1996, also share daughters Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill may be country music royalty, but at home, they are just dad and mom.

"We were in tears the entire time because she was so, so good," Tim said at the time.

McGraw is slated to star in her first feature film, the Kerri Lynn Miller-directed indie drama "Tox." The movie, currently in post-production, does not yet have a release date, according to IMDb.

Tim McGraw, Faith Hill's daughter Gracie confirms 'queer' sexuality

Gracie McGraw is proud to be who she is.

The eldest daughter of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill spoke out in an Instagram story post Tuesday, refuting recent headlines that claimed she was coming out after re-sharing posts in support of Pride Month.

"Hello all!!

On June 28, 1969, the NYPD raided the Stonewall Inn, a private club-turned-bar frequented by the community in lower Manhattan, but the patrons and surrounding crowd decided to fight back. GM,” Gracie concluded.

Gracie’s post comes after she shared a celebratory post in honor of Pride Month, which lasts all of June, via her Instagram Story on Monday, June 2.

“So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!”

“Check on your people and keep safe out there.

I love you my little girl.”

Like her parents, Gracie has shown talent for music and acting. Earlier this year, she was cast in The Great War & The Great Gatsby at Carnegie Hall and took the stage in April. The first Pride parade took place in New York City on June 28, 1970, one year after the Stonewall Riots, and it was held alongside those in Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles as the inaugural protest march.

What is Pride Month?

I have to do cold plunges, I have to do infrared saunas. I can't move quickly, there's no turning real quick to do something.

"Everything has to be very intentional; everything that I do has to be very methodical. The five days of rioting, from June 28 to July 3, 1969, proved to be a catalyst for a national civil rights movement for LGBTQ community members.

McGraw has followed in her parents' footsteps as entertainers.

I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Gracie began her post.

“I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s pride month!!!” Gracie continued. The LGBTQ celebration, explained.Need a news break?

My ride or dies. It's gonna come to a point to where I'm either gonna have to decide to change the way I do a live show to continue to do it or just not do it anymore."
